1. INTRODUCTORY PROVISIONS

1.1 What governs our handling of personal data?

When dealing with personal data, we act in accordance with the law of the Slovak Republic and directly applicable European Union regulations, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27. April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter referred to as the "Regulation"), Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the Protection of Personal Data, as amended, Act No. 22/2004 Coll. on Electronic Commerce, as amended, and Act No. 452/2021 Coll. on Electronic Communications, as amended.

1.2. What is personal data?

Personal data means any information that identifies or can identify a specific natural person. In particular (but not limited to) personal data are:

- identifying information, such as first and last name, identification number, tax identification number, date of birth, gender, user account login;

- contact details, such as home address (or delivery address), telephone number, email address;

- other data, such as information obtained through the use of cookies, IP address (network identifier), including browser type, device and operating system, time and number of accesses to the web interface and other similar information.

2. GETTING AND USING PERSONAL DATA

2.1. How do we obtain your personal data?

In particular, you provide us with your personal data when you complete an order (or as part of a contact form), when you set up a user account or when you upload reviews. If there are any changes to your personal information, please let us know.

When you visit and use the web interface, we may further collect and store some personal information through the use of cookies. You can read more about cookies in Article 5 of this Policy.

2.2. On what legal basis and for what purposes do we process your personal data?

We may process the personal data entered when enquiring and ordering goods without your explicit consent on the basis of and for the purpose of concluding and performing a contract, i.e. for the purpose of delivering the goods. We may also process this data on the basis of and for the purpose of fulfilling our statutory obligations (in particular, record-keeping obligations, archiving of tax documents, etc.) and on the basis of our legitimate interest in protecting our legal claims.

We may process the personal data entered when setting up a user account without your explicit consent for the performance of the contract solely for the purpose of enabling access to, managing and maintaining the user account.

We may use your email address without your express consent on the basis of our legitimate interest to send you commercial communications relating to our goods or services similar to those you have ordered from us. You may opt-out of receiving commercial communications at any time.

If you give us consent on the web interface, we may also process your personal data for the purposes of sending you commercial communications and direct marketing or for other purposes to which you have expressly consented.

If you are under 15 years of age, consent must be given by your legal guardian.

3. STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA

Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or as required by applicable law. The retention period may vary depending on the nature of the data and legal obligations.

After this period, personal data is securely erased or anonymised so that it cannot be associated with a specific person.

4. RIGHT OF AFFECTED PERSON

As a data subject, you have the following rights in relation to the processing of your personal data:

- the right to access your personal data;

- the right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;

- the right to erasure ("right to be forgotten");

- right to restriction of processing;

- right to data portability;

- the right to object to the processing of personal data;

- the right to withdraw consent to the processing of data where the processing is based on consent;

The Web Interface uses cookies and other similar technologies to provide you with a better user experience, analyze traffic, and personalize content and advertising.
