If you're looking for a unique way to spend a day on a bike, take the bike from Ranch 13 to Skalka nad Váhom Monastery. The monastery is one of the oldest pilgrimage sites in Slovakia and has a rich history dating back to the 13th century. Veľká Skalka is linked to the founding of the Benedictine abbey in honour of St. Benedick in 1224, founded by the Bishop of Nitra, James I. The Benedictines were active here until the beginning of the 16th century. The monastery is open to the public during the tourist season as follows:

- April: only on weekends from 13:00 to 17:00
- May: only on weekends from 10:00 to 17:00
- 1 June - 15 September: daily from 10:00 to 17:00, except Mondays
- 16. September - September 30: weekends only, 10:00 - 17:00
- October: weekends only, 13:00 - 17:00
- November - March: the monastery is closed.
